Experienced IT professional with an education in international business. Currently pursuing MSc in Development Management and
seeking IT service delivery and project management challenges within an international organization. Possessing many years' experience
in the conception and implementation of innovative IT solutions within the global trading and financial services sectors, specializing in IT
service delivery and project management. With broad hands-on experience including IT service management, project management, team
leadership, software deployment management, external HW/SW vendor management, end-user support and training, and departmental
budgeting.
I wish to focus my career on three principal areas: IT Service Delivery, Project Management, and International Business.

IT Service Delivery: I have an affinity for analysing business needs and opportunities and applying technological solutions. I place
business needs at the heart of service delivery and act as an advocate for the business community in technical environments. Certified to
the level of ITIL V3 Expert as well as ISO 20000, I have led teams of first and second level support engineers, ensuring SLA adherence,
client satisfaction and service desk best practice. I am well versed in change management and I have direct experience in release
management and quality assurance. I have experience creating work-flows and working with CMDBs to ensure proper adherence to
change management best practice. I am also proficient in systems testing from unit testing through to integration and user acceptance
testing. I have been responsible for the direct leadership of major go live events, reviewing and testing deployment instructions, managing
the risks associated with change, and coordinating the resources required to effect change to IT systems. I have led negotiations with
external vendors ranging in size from independent contractors to major international software firms. I have monitored and assured the
quality, performance and availability of the services under my charge.

Project Management: I have led and participated in numerous projects related to IT solutions development and implementation, IT
platform and infrastructure migrations, Firewall and VPN establishment, and the physical move of the trading floor for a major private bank.
I have worked with and studied project management methodology. In order to complement my project management experience, I have
earned a PMP certificate, I believe that such methodologies are of use and value to a business in that they provide documented, complete,
consistent, and repeatable processes which lead to greater productivity and success of projects. I have led various projects to develop
custom IT solutions; in such I have been involved in needs and opportunity identification, business requirements collection, process
design, application development, technical and user documentation preparation, user training, and application maintenance.

International Business: I have studied International Business in university and have worked in international trade, IT consulting, and
banking for several international companies of varying size and geographical scope. It has been my great pleasure to collaborate with
people from many different nations in North and South America, West and East Europe, and the Far East. I enjoy the insight and learning
provided by communication with those of differing culture and background, and I tend to view the world as an interrelated unit possessing
much possibility and opportunity.
